Well, I have scrolled through the slide show so many times to pick a favorite, and I am having a very difficult time! I guess I’ll have to say Modern Lovers or Invincible Summer, but they all are great! Thanks for the great reading list and the giveaway Robin……

Eligible is at the very top of my summer TBR. But I’m also looking forward to reading Modern Lovers and June and Rich and Pretty and Tuesday Nights in 1980.

I think that all of the books sound interesting and great for summer reading, but I am especially interested in The Assistants by Camille Perry. I was at Pointe Street when Camille read us an excerpt of it. Sons and Daughters of Ease and Plenty also sounds like a fun read as it takes place on Martha’s Vineyard which I love and visit every summer. Also, I love books about people, their families and how they deal with situations.

Hi Mary Lou! So glad you got to hear Camille read – fabulous, right? The interview I did with Ramona about Sons and Daughters is now up on iTunes.
Hope to see you at point street again. awesome line-up for this Tuesday!

Although I’ve known about RWR I just finally got connected here and on FB. I think I am most interested in starting with The After Party, but also June and A Certain Age.

  10. Iris Gesualdi says:

Modern lovers would be my first choice. I will probably read them all by the end of the summer, though. They all seem so interesting. I am an avid reader and as soon as i get involved with a book i have to finish it. Then every thing else in the world is left behind. Have a great summer reading everyone.

  11. Kathy LaMaster says:

I’ve heard a LOT of buzz about Modern Lovers, so I am excited about it, but I find The After Party equally intriguing!

  12. Heather Frimmer says:

They all look amazing but Modern Lovers is top of my list. Her last book, The Vacationers blew me away and I can’t wait to see what Straub does next.

    • robinkall says:

Hi Heather!! They are …and Modern Lovers is a winner!! Huge Straub fan here and thrilled to be hosting Emma on Wednesday at my big Summer With Robin event!!

  13. Jennifer Ingman says:

I’ve just finished The Assistants and thought it was a wonderfully humorous debut by Camille Perri. xo
